ICASA Certification Considerations
1. English test report (RF, EMC and security) issued by qualified laboratories. The submitted documents must be in PDF format or burned to CD. ICASA does not accept the original  report. Its testing requirements for wireless products such as mobile phones are basically consistent with CE certification.
 
About application and fees
The application form must be completed and signed. When submitting the application form, you must also attach a remittance receipt for the application fee.
 Need to prepare technical documents for submission
Book specifications, circuit schematics, PCB layout, component location maps, block diagrams, technical manuals, device photos, and more.
 The model approval certificate is only issued to a local registered company or organization in South Africa. Therefore, information such as the company registration number, address, and telephone number is also required.
The model approval of the mobile phone, in addition to all relevant reports, the importer also needs to provide "Proof of Origin" and a declaration of the stolen goods that the mobile phone is not stolen (applicant's corporate letter format)
