The Brazilian Telecommunications Authority (ANATEL) requires all telecommunications products and accessories to be certified by ANATEL in order to be legally commercialized and used in Brazil.
ANATEL Certified Product Range Category
Category I
a terminal device connected to a fixed conversion telephone service (FSTS) network through an endpoint;
Connecting a private telecommunications network to equipment on the FSTS network;
A device that is connected to the FSTS network for the purpose of providing value-added services.
Includes: mobile phone, satellite phone, VOIP phone, mobile phone battery, mobile phone charging cable, telephone signal cable, modem
Category II
Any device that uses radios not covered by Type I, such as low voltage devices, unlicensed devices, and antennas.
Includes: TV and radio antennas, receivers, transmitters, wireless network equipment, RF automation equipment
Category III
Any equipment not covered by Type IA or II that is governed by ANATEL's rules and regulations.
Including fiber optic cable, cable connector, mobile network signal transmitter

1. The customer submits samples and materials to NTEK;
2. Laboratory sample test, test report issued after the test is completed
3. Qualification certification agency audit test report, issued ANATEL certification
